Louis G. Pastina is Executive Vice President of NYSE Operations, Intercontinental Exchange Group. Mr. Pastina has been in this role since 2007.

Mr. Pastina manages the NYSE Cash Equity Operations including the development schedule, operating plans, the NYSE Trading Floor, the electronic component of the NYSE Equity Market, and various liaisons to Sales, Regulation and Compliance.

Mr. Pastina has managed key NYSE transformational projects such as the Hybrid market implementation, systems infrastructure replacement, NYSE New Market Model, the NYSE migration to a new data center and the rebuilding of the NYSE physical trading floor.

Prior to that, Mr. Pastina was Senior Vice President, Market Development and Next Generation Trading Project and was responsible for the Point of Sale study that formed the Hybrid Market design. He was responsible for the redesign of the NYSE Display Book, which is currently integrated into the NYSE’s Universal Trading Platform (UTP).

Mr. Pastina joined the NYSE in 1983 as a senior planner in the Options business. Transferring to the Fixed Income business in 1986, he served as Director, Fixed Income Markets. In 1989, Mr. Pastina became Managing Director of the Equity Business Development team and developed and introduced the NYSE Crossing Sessions. He was promoted in 1999 to Vice President, Point of Sale Trading Systems.

Mr. Pastina has represented the NYSE on the DTCC Board of Directors since 2008. In addition he is the NYSE representative on SIFMA’s Operations and Technology Committee. He has been a member of the NYSE’s Employee Benefit and Pension Committee, Listings and Compliance Committee, Operation and Management Committees, Leadership Forum, and Board Member of the NYSE TRF, and NYSE Insurance subsidiary, Wall and Broad.

Prior to joining the Exchange, Mr. Pastina was a senior auditor and financial analyst at CIT Financial Corp.
Mr. Pastina graduated from St. Francis College of Brooklyn. He passed the CPA exam in 1986.
